Description
Enjoy a 4 day, 3 night getaway in a tranquil 3 bedroom cabin in Williamstown Vermont. The cabin sits on the donor’s 150 acre farm, with over 300 blueberry bushes, 1,000 ft of cultivated raspberries, a small maple syrup operation, 20 acres of horse pasture and 3 miles of wooded trails, all available for you to enjoy. Just 30 minutes from Stowe, 60 minutes from Woodstock, 20 min from Montpellier and Barre, it’s the perfect location for day trips to shop, indulge in area restaurants and micro-breweries, sample Vermont cheeses or Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. You choose the season! Summer is great for walking, hiking, bird watching and berry-picking; fall beckons leaf-peepers and winter offers skiing (Sugarbush 45 min.), snow sliding, and even access to snowmobile trails. For the hardy there is Mud Season (March 1- May 1) which requires a four-wheel drive vehicle and appropriate footwear, but provides the reward of helping to collect, boil, and finally taste the fresh maple syrup. Amenities: three bedrooms: one queen, 2 twin beds and a full bed in the loft. All sheets and towels are provided… no need to launder. There is a full bathroom with a shower, no tub, and a full kitchen with pots, pans, plates, and gas grill on deck. There is electricity, water, gas heat and great cell reception but no TV, WIFI or A/C. The cabin is blessed with beautiful breezes, with no need for fans or A/C. Address: 598 George Rd Williamstown Vt; Dates to be mutually agreed with the donor. — Donor: Bob & Peg Silva
